From these two words we can see the duty of the Armor Bearer was to stand beside his leader to assist him. He was to “Lift Him” (Armor) and to protect him against the enemy “To the End” (Bearer). When it comes to ministry many want their Pastor to Lay Hands on them, so they might receive the “Double Portioned” anointing that Elisha received from Elijah. They want to operate in “Signs & Wonders,” too! The problem is, not many are willing and don’t know how to adequately SERVE.
